Free-standing, natural oil, natural air cooled combined Rectifier and Transformer, complete with stepless control automatic constant voltage or amperage output. Low ripple at all loads. Solid state throughout.
Applications
Specially designed for the Electro Plating and Anodizing Industries in general, but particularly important when used for ripple-sensitive processes such as bright and hard chrome plating.
Construction
All units are manufactured to our exacting standards using the most modern production techniques:
• Robust steel oil tank suitably reinforced with sealed top plate, oil level indicator, and lifting eyes.
Cooling radiators are fitted to larger models.
• Easily removable control box for remote application.
• Rectifier, transformer & SCR’s are integrated into common frame and emersed in oil.
• All internals are removable from the oil tanks as a unit, for ease of inspection and repair.
Finish
Special high corrosion resistant paint applied to a selfetch primer base. Stand color is middle blue.
Other colors by special request.
Meters and Controls
• Analog amp and volt meter. (digital - optional extra)
• On/off push button with indicator light.
• Main incomer isolation breaker with overload protection.
• Constant voltage or constant amperage regulator.
Automatic Control is Standard to Give:
• Constant voltage with varying amperage; or
• Constant amperage with varying voltage.
